“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil." — Ephesians 5:15–16 (NKJV)
The days ARE evil.
Many public-school libraries now carry sexually explicit books that would have been illegal a generation ago. Taxpayer-funded clinics in multiple states prescribe puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones to minors—often without parental consent. Preachers in Canada and Europe have been arrested or investigated simply for teaching what the Bible says about sexuality.
And far too many Christians still respond with a shrug: “I’m not political. I just want to preach the gospel.”
This is not another soft-spoken Christian blog. This is a call to action.
- We reject the cowardly retreat that masquerades as “staying above the fray.”
- We reject the passivity that mistakes silence for holiness.
- We reject the comfortable myth that the gospel is only about the soul and never about the public square.
Jesus said “Occupy till I come” (Luke 19:13 KJV). He did not say “Retreat till I come."
This blog exists to equip and provoke believers to:
- Think clearly in an age of noise
- Speak boldly in an age of censorship
- Act faithfully in an age of compromise
The Commitment:
- We commit to verifiable facts the spin machines ignore
- We ground everything unapologetically in Scripture
- We engage culture and politics with principle
- We reject surrender disguised as wisdom
- We have no interest in tribal partisanship
- We offer no apologies for believing the Bible cover to cover
- We leave no room for the idea that “render unto Caesar” means surrender to Caesar
Silence isn’t winsome. It’s surrender.
This blog exists for one reason: to call Christians back into the fight for truth, justice, and the souls of our children.
The gospel that saved your soul also has implications for your society.
If you’re looking for endless nuance that never lands, this isn’t the place. If you’re ready to love your neighbor enough to contend for truth, welcome.
The world is dark. The salt is running low. The time is short.
Let’s redeem what time remains.
— Mark Weimer
If this stirs you, share it. If it convicts you, repent and engage. The days are evil—let’s stop acting surprised and start acting faithful.
