"See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil." — Ephesians 5:15–16 (NKJV)

Redeeming the Times exists to engage the cultural and political moment with both facts and faith. In an age of noise, spin, and ideological distortion, we believe Christians are not called to withdraw — but to live wisely, courageously, and to redeem the time that we've been given.

The days are evil, and the headlines prove it. When Charlie Kirk was assassinated, it wasn't just a political moment—it was a cultural wake‑up call. His martyrdom underscored the cost of conviction in a world hostile to truth. Redeeming the Times was born out of that urgency: to speak boldly, to anchor commentary in Scripture, and to call Christians to shine light in the darkness.

Our Mission

To deliver principled, fact-driven commentary on the issues shaping our world — always anchored in a biblical worldview. Our aim is to bring clarity to the confused, conviction to the wavering, and hope to the weary.

This is not opinion for opinion's sake. It is discernment for discipleship.

Why It Matters

We believe truth matters — not as a slogan, but as a light in a dark world. We believe Scripture speaks — not just to the soul, but to the public square. And we believe Christians are called to shine light and preserve truth in every sphere: family, church, work, government, and culture.

Redeeming the Times is not just another echo in the noise. It is a call to wisdom, a call to courage, and a call to hope in a disorienting age.

"The truth will set you free — not because it bends to your preferences, but because it reflects reality as God created it." — Redeeming the Times

About the Author

I am Mark Weimer, the voice behind Redeeming the Times. A Christian, husband, father, and builder of IT systems. Professionally, I've worked as a technical lead and process architect, crafting clean, auditable solutions in IT and web development. By calling, I now apply that same precision to editorial strategy and cultural commentary.

I've studied theology in depth, completing Bible school and the equivalent of a master's-level program (though without the formal degree). This training, paired with years of professional leadership experience, equips me to engage culture with both conviction and clarity.

I am passionate about helping believers think clearly, speak truthfully, and live courageously — especially in a world that often rewards compromise.

I build commentary the way I build systems: modular, repeatable, and scalable. Each essay is crafted with urgency, clarity, and persuasion — designed to disciple readers in the digital age.

Expect:

  • Scripture woven throughout as the interpretive lens
  • Cultural hooks that frame relevance and urgency
  • Visual pull-quotes so truth is not only heard but remembered
